The Corporation
Stephen Keel, the inventor of the HenspaTM, has been in
the computer business since 1988. His company is National Computer
Solutions, a hardware provider for hospitals and large companies. Not satisified to
work with computers only, Steve has created Egganic Industries to market a unique new product, the HENSPATM! |
The Need
In the fall of 1998, Steve made a trip to England. Steve and his
wife, Nancy, had the privilege of eating free-range eggs in several bed and breakfasts,
and restaurants. Steve was so impressed by the taste of the deep yellow yolk and firm
opaque whites, that he came back to the states hoping to raise his own hens. He heard of
different ways to raise free-range chickens, however, none of the coop designs met his
needs. Some of the things he wanted in a coop were - |
 Contained hens (Otherwise they may roost in the shed or
other inconvenient places.) |

No manure to walk through to get his eggs. |

A coop that held enough food and water for several days,
so that it wasn't a daily chore to feed them. |

No muddy, smelly pens where the chickens have scratched
all the grass away. |
The Name
Using his own needs and those of his poultry-owning friends, Steve began to design a
different type of coop. What he came up with is nothing less than an entire system for the
easiest hen care possible. Since the hens seem to love it as much as Steve, he decided to
call it a "HenspaTM." |
The Fun
Now Steve is enjoying 8 -10 eggs a day from 10 hens in his HenspaTM.
His mother-in-law, age 84, and known to all as "Grandma," is fixing him and the
family the best deviled eggs, custards, potato salads and eggnog in the county! |
The Vision
Steve realized that many others either faced a dilemma trying to
raise laying hens or, just never considered it a realistic possibility. So, Egganic Industries was born with the intent
to make it possible for anyone to enjoy organic eggs grown right in their own backyard. |
| Steve is prepared to service his HenspaTM customers with the same
great care he has given his computer business customers over the years. Everyone is
excited. We all believe that anyone with a little bit of grass can enjoy the benefits of
the HenspaTM! |
